Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe Head to “Couples Therapy” in Hilarious New Spoof

If you’ve ever daydreamed about what it would be like to be married to Ryan Gosling, then congratulations, you’re a living, breathing, human being. But according to Russell Crowe, it may not be all rainbows and sunshine and “Hey, girls.”

In fact, being in a relationship with Ryan Gosling kind of sucks. At least, according to a new spoof series starring the two actors. (Eva Mendes was not officially consulted.)

The two A-listers, who are set to star in the upcoming comedy, The Nice Guys, recently released a series of hilarious clips to promote the film, in which they spend multiple therapy sessions rehashing the many (many) things they do that bug the crap out of each other.

Gosling’s imperfections, apparently, range from a complete disdain for composting to being incapable of pronouncing the word “charade” properly. Oh, and he also hoards his own “Hey, girl”-themed merch. (Three things I think most of us would be willing to overlook for a lifetime with the Gos, but to each his own.)

For his part, Crowe’s no peach, either. As Gosling puts it, he’s a “ticking time bomb,” who has a penchant for “putting up walls” and icing out his costar emotionally. “The Great Wall of Russell,” as Gosling dubs it, is so big “you can see it from space.”

What can I say? It’s all pretty adorable and hilarious and will definitely make you want to see these two together again on the big screen May 20, when The Nice Guys hits theaters.
