Hi. Hello. How are you? Are you sitting down right now? Okay, GOOD. Because according to TMZ, the Spice Girls are reportedly reuniting, and I am currently losing all my chill.
That’s right — Scary, Posh, Sporty, Baby, and Ginger allegedly had a meeting last week with their former manager, Simon Fuller, during which there was some “rough planning” around an upcoming world tour that will begin in late summer. (As in, OF THIS YEAR, PEOPLE.)
The details leaked to the public are all very minimal right now, but TMZ reports that the plan is for the ’90s group to tour both the U.K. (where they’d kick things off first) and then hit up cities throughout the U.S.
News of the possible world tour first broke earlier today, which caused every Twitter user who spent the late ’90s in middle school to FREAK.
Strong hints of a possible reunion surfaced just days ago, when Victoria Beckham took to Instagram on February 2 to share a photo of the famous five:
Ironically, it was Beckham who was the toughest sell on the world tour — TMZ reports that while the other ladies were totally game, it took a while to get Victoria “fully on board.”
Better start clearing your summer schedule now, ladies — this is one reunion you won’t wanna miss.
(But seriously, can *NSYNC be next?)
