Taylor Swift Sends Love (and $50K) to 13-Month-Old Boy with Cancer

How Taylor Swift-haters even exist, we’ll never know.

She’s shown her true colors once again by donating $50,000 to a GoFundMe account set up for one of her backup dancer’s 13-month-old nephew who is battling cancer.

The account explains that Ayden had been in the ICU for over two weeks and was just diagnosed with cancer a few days ago. His mother was recently let go from her job due to the amount of time she had to spend at the hospital, so they need any help they can get to get through this difficult time.

Swift’s backup dancer, Kim “Toshi” Davidson shared a sweet photo with his nephew to spread the word. Little did he know his “boss” would come to his aid.

Taylor posted a comment with her generous donation saying, “Baby Ayden, I’m lucky enough to perform with your uncle Toshi on tour. All of us are praying for you and your mama and sending so much love your way. Love, Taylor.”

Toshi shared his gratitude to Swift with an Instagram post of her comment.

This isn’t the first time Swift has donated to a child in need. In July, she gave $50,000 to a fan battling cancer, causing GoFundMe to raise the limit on donations it accepts. It’s so refreshing to see a celebrity that can both shine in Hollywood’s spotlight and prove to be a great role model for children and adults.

You’re in our prayers, Baby Ayden.
