This Trendy Charleston Hotel Has a ‘Notebook’ Package for Fans — Just in Time for V-Day

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner — which means it’s almost time to start hitting up all those sappy romantic movies you love, just as hard as you did those Hallmark Christmas movies back in December. And as any loyal romantic movie lover knows, there will be one movie that’s on heavy rotation come February: The Notebook.

I mean, have you ever successfully flipped past it when it’s playing on loop on Lifetime? I’m willing to bet not. ESPECIALLY if it’s that scene where they’re sailing in that little pond with all the swans? Or the one where they’re lying in the middle of the street looking up at the stars? Or — OMG — when Ryan Gosling’s super depressed for a bunch of years but has that amazing beard and he’s remodeling that house with his bare hands in a sweat-stained tank top … ?!

But I digress.

It seems that the HarbourView Inn in Charleston, South Carolina understands the undeniable pull that Nicholas Sparks’ most popular romance has upon us all. So much so that they recently unveiled “Allie & Noah’s Romance Package”, an unforgettable stay “inspired by one of Charleston’s favorite romances.”

According to the hotel website, the package includes all sorts of Notebook-y things — from “a visit to the oak-lined road at Boone Hall to having your name on the American Theater” (WHAT). Things it (hopefully) doesn’t include? You being reduced to a convulsing heap of ugly-crying at the end, as is routinely the case after actually watching The Notebook.

The getaway doesn’t exactly come cheap — you’ll have to throw down $2,000 per couple — but it does promise to be memorable. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by a dozen roses in your room and rose petal turndown service complete with a bottle of sparkling wine. You’ll also have a private carriage ride for two to look forward to, and be given both gift cards and complimentary admission to several filming location sites around Charleston so you can fully relive all the good parts of The Notebook.

There will be dinner at High Cotton, the restaurant where Noah first sees Allie eating dinner with her new fiancé (gasp!) and even a visit to Magnolia Plantation & Gardens, where Noah and Allie took that swan-filled lake ride. After which you can force your significant other to shout “I want all of you, forever, you and me, every day!” at you in the rain.

Honestly, I’m not really sure what you’re still doing reading this, ’cause you need to book a stay immediately. Seriously — for the love of Ryan Gosling, GET ON THIS!
