We never thought we’d find ourselves jealous of a snow day (it is March after all), but our favorite royal family has us wishing for our own winter wonderland … and maybe a killer pair of ski pants, too.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge took to the slopes as a family recently when they vacationed in the French Alps for a few days, according to People. Not only was it their first vacation as a family of four, but it was also the first time Prince George, 2, and Princess Charlotte, 10 months, had ever seen snow!
Skiing is a bit of a family tradition for both Will and Kate, who grew up with a love for the slopes. Before they had George, they would go skiing annually with their families. Now that they have a family of their own it looks like they plan to continue the tradition. And lucky for us they’ve decided to share sweet photos from their first of many future trips.
First of all, we can’t get over how big Princess Charlotte and Prince George have gotten! Charlotte looks just darling in her snow suit and pink winter hat, while George looks snug as a bug in his winter gear — surely ready to run around in some fresh powder.
While the parents have been generous with sharing their family photos of the kids (in exchange for the privacy and respect from paparazzi), we didn’t quite expect to see such a candid and affectionate shot of William and Kate mid-snowball fight. Once again, these two have taken our relationship goals to the next level.
And there’s nothing better than a sweet daddy-daughter moment, is there? We can’t help but fight the urge to squeeze Charlotte’s adorable, chubby little cheeks!
We know traveling with kids can be tough, so we’re happy to see our favorite royal parents seemed to enjoy themselves on this quick vacation.More On
