A not so long time ago, in a crib moderately away (depending on where you live), comes a child with a serious gift for melody (and maybe a touch of the dark side).
Recently, Jonathan H. Liu, a stay-at-home dad and senior editor at GeekDad, introduced his kids to the greatness that is Star Wars. And it clearly made an impression on at least one of them because on November 6, he uploaded a video of his daughter singing “The Imperial March” (AKA Darth Vader’s theme song) in her crib, caught on camera thanks to his baby monitor. He explained in the caption on YouTube:
“We watched Star Wars with our kids recently, and our toddler (2 and a half) really enjoyed the bits she saw before her bedtime. One of her favorite parts: the Imperial March. Here she is singing it to herself in her crib (as seen through the baby monitor).”
Clearly that song is a favorite among this new generation of fans. After all, who can forget the 7-year-old viral sensation who not only performed the song on his cello, but was dressed head-to-toe as Luke’s heavy-breathing father, Mr. Vader himself. Not us.
