Couple Pops the Question at the Exact Same Time While Playing Pictionary

We’ve all seen our fair share of amazing wedding proposals over the years, but trust me — you haven’t seen one quite like this. In one of the sweetest set-ups of all time — orchestrated by a mom, no less — one couple ended up proposing to each other at the same exact time. And the video that’s now going viral of the amazing moment is hands-down the most heartwarming thing on the Internet this week.

On February 10, Tori Monaco and Berkley Cade were playing a game of Pictionary with Cade’s family. Monaco had been planning for months to pop the question, but what she didn’t know was that her girlfriend was busy working on proposal plans of her own.

“Her mom was the mastermind, they were planning this perfect proposal,” Monaco told INSIDER of her girlfriend’s secret plans. As it turns out, Cade bought a ring a few months ago and started planning the proposal with her mom. But around the same time, Monaco also bought a ring, and then called Cade’s mom to plan something special.

Enter, Cade’s mom stage left — who is basically brilliant and amazing and someone every mom needs to take notes from, because she managed to turn this whole proposal thing into a heart-melting moment of straight-up awesomeness.

The big moment, which was all caught on film and is currently going viral on both Facebook and Twitter, shows Cade drawing out a clue on the Pictionary board. Cade’s mom had originally planned for her daughter to draw a picture of a “proposal” so that Monaco would guess the words “Will you marry me?” But just as this was happening, Monaco came up behind her and said, “OK, Berk, will you marry me?”

At that same moment, Cade grabs her bag and pulls out another ring, gets down on one knee, just as Monaco says, “What? This is a joke, this is a setup!”

Yup. And it is ah-MAZING.

I’m not the only one in love with this viral video — Twitter is having a field day. It’s been retweeted 25K times and attracted over 400 comments from mostly well-wishers in just a few short days. And the Facebook post has been liked more than 13K times.

One commenter wrote, “this is literally the best thing I have EVER seen! So happy for you two!”

“Thank you for posting this,” another wrote. “I needed to see something beautiful and wholesome this week.”

Of course, the plan worked to a T, with the happy couple both saying yes, and according to INSIDER, wedding details are already underway.

“I cannot wait to marry the woman of my dreams,” Cade wrote in her Facebook post. “I love you forever baby.”
