There has certainly never been a cuter title than Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
There has been such excitement surrounding the birth of Will and Kate’s second child. We were elated on May 2nd to find out the growing family had welcomed a little princess into the world, but there was one thing missing: her name! It has now been confirmed by the Kensington Palace that the baby’s name is Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.
While many royal watchers were sure the baby would be named Alice, which actually means “noble,” the couple has chosen Charlotte for their baby girl — and we couldn’t love it more. The baby’s full name has a number of sentimental meanings behind it. Obviously, Elizabeth and Diana are attributes to the Queen and William’s mother respectively, but it has also been noted that Charlotte is Kate’s sister Pippa’s middle name. On top of that Elizabeth is both Kate and her mother’s middle names! Wee can’t fail to mention … how adorable does George and Charlotte sound together?
We consider ourselves to be quite the baby name connoisseurs, so we’d like the royals to know this choice definitely has our stamp of approval.
Congratulations to the happy family!More On
