10 Beautiful Floral DIY's & Decor Ideas

The April issue of House and Home magazine just came out this weekend and with it a beautiful feature on weekend decorating projects with a floral theme.  The styling by Margot Austin (photography by Angus Fergusson) is absolutely stunning. To keep things modern choose florals with saturated colors that are supersized. I was inspired by this feature to do a round-up of other beautiful floral DIY’s and decor ideas I’ve collected.  I’ve included them here (and one more from the H&H article  —I encourage checking out their April issue which has about 4 or 5 gorgeous ideas like the one above.  It can be purchased digitally here).     A great way to spruce up a boring dresser! Melissa from Under Construction was inspired to cover her daughter's dresser after she completed a ruffled quilt for her bed and wanted the furniture to match. Using vintage fabric, she created a really sweet piece!

    Another effective and simple idea. Find a gorgeous floral fabric, (vintage sheet perhaps) and hang on the wall (a bit off center would look awesome)!

    This clever idea comes from the folks at House and Home Magazine. They used album art frames 12"x12" from Urban Outfitters and then hung a set of 9 in a grid.
