Summer is by far my favorite season. I love all of the time I get to spend with my family, especially my school-aged son. But, as I am sure with most of you, about a day after school lets out for the summer, I run out of ideas to help keep him occupied. That’s when I start scouring the Internet for genius crafts to do with him! While I was doing this, I thought to myself, “Why not share with your readers?” and so I am! If you have kids home for the summer and are looking for some crafts to keep them busy, you are in luck! This list is great for just about any age of child. Some are for older kids who can read and write on their own, and some are for our youngest tots at home — even the non-school-aged ones who are looking for something fun to get into as well. What I really love about these crafts is that depending on the kids, some they can do completely on their own if given the right supplies. Because, lets be honest, the older kids do feel you hovering, mom. And if you are wanting or needing to be more involved in the crafts, there are some perfect tutorials for that as well! The point is the kids are busy and happy and so are you. It’s a total win-win!
