5 Badass Plumpers: Lip Gloss with a Bite

plumping lip glossesWhen it comes to getting the perfect pucker, what’s your poison? Do you like the spicy lip glosses that set your face ablaze or the softer, smooth ones with just a tingle? I have tried just about every single one over the years. From traditional brands like Dior to funky brands like Too Faced, here are my favorites.

A few of them made me cringe the first time I tried them. That initial stinging sensation is so intense I seriously thought my lips were going to explode off my face. The ones you can buy at most drug stores didn’t make the list, because they were just downright painful with minimal plumping potential.  That’s no fun.

Discover 5 badass lip plumpers for the perfect pucker! What’s your poison?

Lip Venom plumping lip gloss

Lip Venom
One of the most notable plumping lip glosses is Lip Venom by DuWop. It is especially spicy and it’s actually my favorite when I’m dressing up for a night on the town. Just don’t plant a big sloppy kiss on your baby or hubby with this stuff on, because it may leave a mark! Find it for $16 at Sephora.

LipFusion Lip Plump

My second most favorite plumping gloss and the one I wear daily is LipFusion by Fusion Beauty. It’s a clear gloss that goes on smooth and it’s not sticky. This gloss recently received the  Good Housekeeping Seal, a smooch of honor. Find it for $36 at Sephora.

Dior Lip Maximizer

Dior Lip Maximizer
This is another one of my favorite plumping glosses because it’s not as strong as the other ones and it smells great. I’ve bought this one a bunch, but it’s expensive like LipFusion. Find it for $30 at Sephora.

Too Faced Lip Gloss

Lip Injection Extreme
This is one powerful pout-maker! I still tend to like Lip Venom more, but this is one is very similar. It certainly has a bite and brush applicator. Still a great option for fans of Too Faced products. Find it at Sephora for $28.

Buxom Lips gloss

Buxom Lips
This is a cool plumping option because it doesn’t contain harmful chemicals. It also comes in a bunch of beautiful, trendy shades that are totally wearable. It isn’t sticky and the packaging is fun. Find it at Sephora for $18.
