Black Friday and Cyber Monday Deals Not to Be Missed

While the kick-off of the holiday season means good food, family time, and movie marathons, it also brings the most epic shopping sales of the year. Yes, we’re talking about Black Friday and Cyber Monday. We all know our kids are hoping for that one special doll or toy, but it’s simply not worth breaking the bank over when there are so many deals to be had!

We’ve scoured the latest ads to put together our must-have savings from all of our favorite stores, for everyone in the family. Happy (bargain) shopping!

Black Friday


Hours: Most Walmarts are open 24 hours on a normal basis, including Thanksgiving night, but all of their deals will be available online all day Thursday. They will also have exclusive deals that can only be found by using their mobile app.

Hours: Stores will open from 6 PM Thanksgiving night until 11 PM Black Friday, and will have pre-Black Friday deals early on Wednesday (11/23). To take advantage of these savings, you’ll need the Cartwheel app.

Best Buy

Hours: Stores will open at 5 PM on Thanksgiving night with closing times varying by location, but you can shop select doorbuster deals online the entire day of Thanksgiving.

Notable Products:

  • Get the football fan in your life what they really want — the Samsung 4K Ultra HD TV for $479.99 (that’s a savings of $320)!
  • The teen in your home will worship you for buying the Xbox One Special Edition Bundle for $299.99.
  • They also have great deals on movies this season with prices ranging from $1.99-$17.99. You can finally catch up on all those films you meant to see in theaters.
  • Looking for the perfect stocking stuffer? Get everyone in the family a colorful Dynex Portable Charger for only $2.99 — dead phone batteries be damned!

Hours: Stores will open on Thanksgiving night from 6 PM to midnight and reopen from 7 AM to midnight on Black Friday.

  • There will be a number of coupon codes available to use online and in-store.
  • THANKS1 can be used to get 30% off your entire purchase on Thursday from 6 PM-12 AM.
  • THANKS4 will give you 40% off all regular-priced purchases on Friday from 7 AM-12 PM.
  • THANKS6 will save you 25% off your entire purchase on Saturday from 8 AM-12 PM.
  • THANKS7 allows you to take 50% off any one regular-priced item on Saturday from 12 PM-10 PM.

While some stores haven’t released their full deals just yet, here’s some helpful information for you Black Friday shoppers:

  • For the first time ever Toys R Us will be open for 30 straight hours, starting at 5 PM on Thanksgiving night. However, Black Friday online deals will start Wednesday (11/23) at 9 PM. Get your most comfortable shoes on, parents.
  • Bed Bath & Beyond will be giving out coupons toward 20% off your entire purchase between 6 AM and 12 PM on Friday.
  • Amazon is sure to have excellent savings, but they haven’t revealed them just yet. In the meantime you can shop their Countdown to Black Friday Deals to get a head start on your shopping.
  • Ebay will be hosting different deals every hour starting at 9 PM on Thanksgiving and will have free shipping.
  • Walgreens is offering a 3-day shopping pass for 25% off all regular-priced items from 11/24-11/26.
  • The Disney Store will have a Magical Black Friday sale in which you can receive an additional 20% off from 11/25-11/27.
  • Covered Goods has an exclusive deal for Babble readers! Gift your bestie a multi-use nursing cover and save 15% off any order with the code BABBLE15 from 11/25-11/28.
  • Micuna will have two major cribs on sale. Their LIFE crib will be 50% off as well as their Harmony crib. What a steal!
