CES 2011 News: What Are the HOT Products at the Consumer Electronics Show 2011

The Consumer Electronics Show 2011 opened on Thursday January 6th in Las Vegas. It is the place where the newest video, cameras, gadgets, and all things tech. About 200,000 will go through the doors of the convention, checking out what will be the future of electronics that will soon be entering our homes, making it to our wish lists, and items that your kids will start begging you for.  So what are the hottest items that are sure to be the biggest hits of the show?

Tablets, tablets, tablets. Everyone seems to want some of that iPad action. Right now Apple’s iPad has a 95% hold on the tablet market but items like Motorola’s Xoom tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab and the Blackberry Playbook will try to make a run for the money.

3D TV and their glasses. 3D Televisions were big at last year’s show but this year there is an new push particularly on the 3D glasses that go with them.

Plus Mitsubishi will prevent their new 3D PLP home cinema TV that are gigantic ad 73″ and 92″.

Ebook readers are another big draw with Barnes & Noble showing off their new color Nook.

And everyone seems to want to make it easier to watch stuff from the internet on your TV or to watch TV on your computer. Yahoo Connected TV, Roku box and Logitech’s Revue all are contenders.

There will be a lot more news coming out soon, but those are just some of the hi-tech highlights that will be making news.
