We’ve been humming the tune to “Hakuna Matata” because we just can’t wait … for Disney Channel’s movie premiere of The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar on November 22.

The show is a continuation of The Lion King, centered around Simba’s son, Kion, as he embarks on many adventures protecting the Pride Lands. Now, we know this is technically a movie for kids, but all of us who grew up watching The Lion King are equally psyched to watch this film.

The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar movie premieres on Disney Channel November 22, and The Lion Guard TV series will follow on Disney Junior in early 2016. Learn how the Lion Guard came to be in the beautifully illustrated picture book “The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar.”
