I think I’m in love with this toddler bed. It’s adorable, sturdy, and just like “regular” furniture, only shrunk down to toddler size.
I can’t find enough good to say about the Catalina Toddler Bed from Pottery Barn Kids. I love that you can then match it to furniture that you can keep around for years, instead of yet again redoing your child’s room.
Cartoon characters are cute, but those beds tend to be flimsy. Not that Catalina Toddler bed! My son looks like such a big boy sleeping in this bed. Plus, I can sit with him to read him a bedtime story without feeling like the bed is going to break.
You do have to put the Catalina toddler bed together, but that seems to be the norm for all toddler beds and this one wasn’t hard to put together.
My only complaint that-really-isn’t-a-complaint is that the boxes it comes in are on the heavy side and I couldn’t carry them up our stairs by myself to my son’s room. But, that’s just because of how sturdy the bed is.
This bed has two detachable guardrails and is designed for use without a box spring. The color choices are white or sun valley espresso(pictured).
The Catalina toddler bed is priced at $249 and is worth every penny for the fabulous quality!
