Who doesn’t love Target? You go in just needing to buy one thing and end up getting lost for hours. 7-year-old Parker loves Target so much that he celebrated his birthday at a local store. And we have to admit, we’re pretty jealous.
Kara Cook, Parker’s mother, wanted to throw an original birthday party for her son. She spoke with the general manager beforehand to see if the party could even happen. He said that since they’re customers, there should be no problem, as long as they’re not disruptive.
With that said, she started planning the extravaganza. The invitations requested all guests to wear red shirts and khaki shorts — the employee uniform. Cook had the cafe popcorn ready for the kids, along with name badge decorating and bracelet making. There was even a scavenger hunt that employees helped with and a homemade Bullseye the Dog cake.
To finish off the festive night, the kids were able to pick out their own party favors from the Dollar Spot section. That’s one lucky boy!
