12 Days of Christmas: Gift Ideas Kids Can MakeMari Hernandez-Tuten
For the next 12 days, I’m going to share with you my 12 Days of Christmas Series! Crafts, recipes, ideas, and more…
Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. I love everything about it! So it’s my pleasure to scour the internet for you and share the 12 Days of Christmas: Gift Ideas Kids Can Make. I will feature some of the best gifts, recipes, and crafts that your kids can make.
I love to get gifts from my kids, and I’m sure every parent feels the same way. When I worked as a teacher, it was always my hope to send my students home with gifts that were practical and/or keepsakes that each child made. One year, my 3-year-old kids made no-sew scarves; another year, they made some personalized mugs. Both of those ideas were simple, easy, and inexpensive, but most of all, they were gifts the kids could see their loved ones use year round, because they were practical.
So stay tuned and stop by and check out some of this awesomeness. If you have ideas, feel free to share them in the comments or on my Facebook Page wall, and I will consider featuring them in our 12 Days of Christmas Series! And while you’re there, join in the conversation: Fake or real Christmas tree?
Join me each week on “We Are That Familia.” I am ecstatic to be sharing with you here on Babble.com on all things “Family” from parenting, recipes, crafts, inspirational (and not so inspirational) stories, and life as we know it.
