21 days of gratitude prompts

I believe that gratitude can be contagious, and my desire is to spend the next 21 days being grateful with my family. Below, I am sharing our 21 Days of Gratitude Prompts, and don’t forget to stop by next week to join in our 21 Days of Gratitude Challenge.

It’s so easy to complain, grumble, or not to be content with our situation, our body, our home, our kids, our food, our job, our significant other, our parents, our school, our friends, and life as we know it. In an effort to be less of that and to focus our day on the joy and beauty that surrounds us, I want to challenge myself, my family, and you to be more aware of the blessings we are surrounded with each day.

My hope is that you will find beauty and blessings in the mundane, in the beautiful, in the ugly as you: change diapers, wash dishes, sit in holiday traffic, stir the pot of soup, look into your loved one’s eyes, hold your child in your arms… We are constantly surrounded by small miracles. Let’s open our eyes and embrace them.

We will discover joy when we discover gratitude.

The challenge is about stopping to reflect and engage in a moment of thankfulness each day this month with your family. It can be big or small moments of gratitude. Don’t forget to stop by next week for the details. But for now, you can use these as a journal prompt or a photo prompt or as a Facebook status or whatever your favorite social media outlet is and update it.

I had the joy of printing off my gratitude prompts on an awesome HP wireless printer. I’ve never owned one, but it has been so great to just print from another room — and you can even have it print something from your phone! I made two. The one on the right has more details/explanation so your kids can join in the fun.

Get the details here to learn how you can take a picture on your phone and send it to your wireless printer from virtually anywhere. No need to install anything. Just make sure your device and printer are operating on the same network.
