I am excited to be your camp counselor this week! So a little about me. I love pretending to be a photographer. I am a wannabe cook and artist. I am passionate about my faith and family! I love to dance, hangout with friends and dream. When I am not writing or creating I want to save the world. When I was a little girl I remember my father asking me what I wanted to do when I grew up. I thought long and hard because I knew he wanted to hear a real answer. So I replied, “I want to save the world, the hurt, the lost, the broken.” He grinned and responded with, “Okay, well how exactly do you plan on doing that?” I gave him a stern look and I replied, “I don’t know but I will.” My dad is a debater and a realist, so he likes plans but that day he just looked at me and smiled. I love finding ways to serve the hurt, the lost and the brokenhearted with my kids, with my writing, and with my life.
So enough about me and let’s get crafting.
First up, DIY Playhouse Tent and get this it’s made from a cardboard box. It was simple to make and not to mention inexpensive. I didn’t need fabric, nails or a hammer just a cardboard box, ribbon and glue. My favorite feature from this project is that it’s collapsible.
Stop by Inspired by Familia to get all the details on how to make your own DIY Playhouse Tent.
Don’t you love it! I was pleased with how it turned out and how easy it was to make. I made the little campfire from felt and it’s no-sew! I will have to share with you at another time how to make your own felt campfire set.
