Have you Tried Face Oils? 10 Face Oils for Every Budget and Skin Type

Over the past few years, face oils have become the latest trend to get younger, healthier skin. Celebrities such as Adriana Lima and Sofia Vergara swear by them. Hey, even Cleopatra used it back in the day to wash her face several times daily! According to celebrity dermatologist Dr. Gervaise Gerstner, “Face oils are an excellent way to get antioxidants quickly into the skin and soften the appearance of fine lines.” They also help prevent water loss by plumping the skin with moisture. But if the thought of putting oil on your already oily skin is terrifying, some oils can actually balance oily or acne-prone skin.

But do you really need to spend a fortune on these magical oil potions? Luckily, there are face oils for every budget and skin type that will do the trick.

If you’re looking to add a face oil to your own skincare regimen, here are a few worth trying:

It's perfect if you're looking for hydrated skin and a luminous complexion. A little goes a long way with this bottle. Model Adriana Lima uses it as part of her beauty regimen, and it's one of my personal favorites, too.

    Light and breathable, this oil is great for those with acne-prone skin. The plant complex blend helps fight bacteria and leaves the skin looking hydrated and healthier. It's also a vegan product.

    This oil deeply nourishes and replenishes dull, dry skin and leaves it feeling extra soft. It's also non-greasy and lightweight and gets absorbed by the skin quickly for all-day hydration without leaving it oily. My mom uses this one and loves it. It's also a bargain for under $30 bucks.

    This oil is 100% plant-based and helps encourage cell renewal. It includes ingredients such as grape seed oil, jojoba, sunflower oil, and sesame seed oil.  It also received really great reviews among women with oily skin.

    This oil contains the best of both science and nature. It comes packed with argan and marula oil for mature, dry skin and contains anti-aging retinol and essential amino acids.

    This oil is said to have higher levels of antioxidants and omega 9 acid than argan or grape seed oil. It leaves the skin feeling so soft and hydrated. It also feels really light and doesn't leave the skin feeling greasy.

    This oil contains vitamin C and essential fatty acids to hydrate sensitive and acne-prone skin. It also helps even out skin tone, and the maracuja oil is known for its anti-aging properties. It also won't cause breakouts, which is a typical concern for women when thinking about using a face oil.
