20 Best Disney Apps for Kids

We all know our tablets and smartphones are no longer our own, but it doesn’t stop a parent from dreaming of a collection of age-appropriate apps all housed in one place, free from unsavory mashups and oranges with annoying voices that children seem to get into no matter how many parental settings try to keep them out.

Now, imagine this – Aladdin, Beauty and the Beast, 101 Dalmatians, The Lion King, Finding Nemo, Toy Story, and more of your children’s all-time favorite Disney stories wrapped up in one magical-meets-virtual world.

Disney Publishing is making it happen with its newest app – Disney Storytime.

Available today (!), Disney Storytime provides the largest collection of Disney stories in one app. As in 20 stories in one app large.

Three full-length stories come with the initial app purchase, and additional stories can be purchased in-app for one credit each – in-app bundle offers include 2 credits for $2.99, 5 credits for $4.99, and 17 credits (all books) for $8.99.

And, if you thought that was pretty magical, don’t miss this collection of 19 other Disney apps from Aristocats to Wreck-It Ralph.

My kids have played them all, and let’s just say there are days I want to kiss the app developers sitting somewhere out there behind their computer screens.
