I’ve just stopped sniffling over that Google commercial every time it airs and now Bing strikes back …
Their epic new commercial celebrates the women of 2013. Women like Malala Yousafzai, whose voice I can’t hear without getting verklempt, Adrianne Haslet-Davis, a survivor of the Boston bombings who lost her left leg, Gabrielle Giffords and even the indomitable Deborah Cohan, featured right here on Babble, who turned her mastectomy into a pre-surgery flash mob.
Every single time this commercial airs I start to cry and then I want to leap off the couch and twirl my daughter around the room shouting about how proud I am to be her mother and how much I look forward to sharing womanhood with her during a time like this, when we are celebrated as the magnificent, splendid, accomplished, empowered human beings we are more than at any other time in history.
Watch the video below and share it with every woman you know.
