Tell Your Tale! The Disney Princess: Story Theater App

I wish I’d had the Disney Princess: Story Theater App when I was growing up!

Like many little girls and boys, I used to create my own stories, and then, perhaps slightly less common, I would stage plays for my stuffed animals.

Disney Princess: Story Theater allows children to bring their own tales to life.

Just how simple is it to use? Let me tell you a funny story of my own. I had downloaded the app to my iPad, but by the time I got a chance to look at it for the first time, about two days later, three stories had already been created with it by my 5 year old son! How is that for an interactive and intuitive app?! He doesn’t read much yet, but he was able to follow the instructions and create his own stories, using his own voice.

The wonderful thing is, when he realized I was looking at his stories, he came running to me with a big smile. I got to ask him all about his stories and then he taught me how to create my own. Chatting with him about his stories was one of those miraculous mom moments, and it gave me special insight into the way his mind works, the amazing depths of his imagination, and just how fun it was for him to do.

Now let me show you some of the app’s features.
