If you told us a 3-year-old had covered the kitchen in carrots, we’d picture an explosion of spilled veggies all over the counters and floor, because … kids. However, this adorable tyke, Osi, surprised his parents by neatly arranging carrots as new kitchen decor.
Osi, who’s full name is Patimiosi Olive, is a curious toddler from Utah. We caught up with his dad, Samson Olive, to find out exactly how the great carrot coverage went down. He said,
“We were preparing dinner and peeling the carrots for a roast. We had started to notice that the carrots were disappearing when we started working on other parts of the meal. We turned around and found the missing carrots as new ornaments on our drawer handles in our kitchen.”
There were literally carrots EVERYWHERE.
When asked why he decided to steal the carrots and put them all around the kitchen, Osi said, “Makes me happy!” We couldn’t ask for a more reasonable answer.
Sweet Osi, who also enjoys spending his time putting bowls on his cat’s head and playing with toy dinosaurs, has additionally taken to opening all of the kitchen drawers and cabinets. We think he definitely has a future in home decorating. The orange actually looks quite nice with the white cabinets.
Ah kids, they are so easily amused and … creative. Osi, we say continue doing what makes you happy!More On
