Baseball Player’s 2-Year-Old Daughter Sees Dad on TV, Has the Sweetest Reaction

As we all know, a kid’s least favorite time of day is bedtime. Sure, they were cute as can be when you gave them ice cream for dessert, but the second it’s time to change into those PJs … the cries and questions and excuses begin.

But luckily for one little girl in Chicago, bedtime got pushed back on Tuesday because her dad happens to be a famous baseball player who’s on TV at 10 PM. NBD.

As the Chicago Cubs beat out the Los Angeles Angels in Anaheim, CA, Cubs center fielder Dexter Fowler had his family cheering him on from home. And most excited to watch Fowler on TV? His 2-year-old daughter, Naya.

In this video posted by Naya’s mother, Darya Aliya Fowler, Naya excitedly points out “Daddy” when Fowler comes on screen — and it’s just about the cutest thing.

The video was shared to Twitter and Instagram, where it has since gone viral with 3.2K favorites on Twitter and 1.3K on Instagram.

And as if that’s not adorable enough, here’s a little more Naya cuteness, for ya:

With the Cubs on the West Coast for their opening series, we’re sure Naya misses her dad a lot. But it must be nice to know he’s just a channel change away.
