Cradle swings can be a lifesaver. Case in point — soothing the baby while Mommy tries to get things done. But one of the scariest things a mom can hear is that her baby’s swing might malfunction.

We urge you to immediately check your cradle swing for the below models, as they are being recalled due to a falling hazard. Fisher-Price has received two reports of pegs coming out from the seat, causing it to fall. No injuries have been reported, but we do not want to take any chances.

Which swings were affected?

The recall includes three models of the Fisher-Price cradle swings: CHM84 Soothing Savanna Cradle ‘n Swing, CMR40 Sweet Surroundings Cradle ‘n Swing, and CMR43 Sweet Surroundings Butterfly Friends Cradle ‘n Swing. And there are about 34,000 units total. You can find the product number on the seat under the pad.

Where were they sold?

The products were sold at many stores nationwide and online, from November 2015 through March 2016.

What should I do if I (yikes!) have a swing?

Immediately stop using the recalled cradle swing and contact Fisher-Price at 800-432-5437 for revised assembly instructions.
