Hold on to Your Baby Moccasins — Freshly Picked Is Unveiling Its Very First Diaper Bag!

We all know — and LOVE — Freshly Picked for their uber-cute baby moccasins. If you don’t already own a pair (or 30) for your baby, then you’ve certainly given them as a gift, shamelessly drooled over them online, or pinned the heck out of ’em. They’re basically the Louboutins of baby shoes, but with a price tag that won’t actually give you a heart attack.

And now, you’ll have one more reason to lust after the brand: Freshly Picked is unveiling its first-ever diaper bag — and trust us, you’re gonna want this thing.

For starters, it’s a multi-wear diaper bag, which means it acts as a backpack, purse, and cross body all in one, allowing you to switch up the straps to suit your mood. And just like all Freshly Picked products, it’s super stylish, made of “high-end vegan leather” and “custom matte gold hardware,” according to a press release obtained by Babble. (Hmm … that does sound fancy.)

It’s also ultra-roomy inside, with plenty of pocket space to organize your things, and ultra-sleek — so you won’t feel like you’re lugging around a gigantic diaper bag wherever you go.

Plus, just look at it!

And here’s one more upside: Because it’s designed not to look like a diaper bag (but rather, just to function like one), you can use this bad boy beyond the baby stage — which makes it well worth the $175 price tag.

But if you’re already hitting refresh on the Freshly Picked website, better cool your jets. The bag won’t actually be released until October 2017, where it will be sold at both Freshly Picked and Nordstrom, and its expected to hit doorsteps by November.

Until then, the company will be taking pre-orders on Kickstarter starting June 29, where it’s also welcoming customers to check out the prototype and give feedback on what, if anything, they’d suggest changing.

According to Freshly Picked’s founder and CEO, Susan Petersen:

“We decided to launch our diaper bag via Kickstarter because we want to give our Freshly Picked customers the opportunity to be part of the next product we release, from beginning to end. We started by interviewing hundreds of real moms about what they needed in a diaper bag, and designed the perfect bag based on what we heard. By doing a Kickstarter, it allows our customers the chance to be involved in the production process, and get it first — so they can be there every step of the way.”

We know what you’re thinking — it’s a long wait ’til November. Good thing Freshly Picked just released their new line of Care Bears moccasins to give us our fix (and let us indulge in a little ’90s nostalgia).
