Hope you’re ready, ’cause this might be one of the funniest photos you’ll see all day. Heather Leroux, a 27-year-old mom in Sydney, Australia, posted a photo on Today’s Facebook page a few weeks ago that’s just now going viral — and has the entire Internet LOLing.
Leroux told The Sun that because her son Leo’s toy car had no back cover, she didn’t want to put batteries in it, for his safety. Because of that, she’d been telling him for weeks that she couldn’t find the batteries. But as any clever kid would do, he put on his thinking cap and decided to solve the problem on his own.
What she didn’t know, however, was that Leo did make a discovery — one that prompted him to put the missing “batteries” back in his toy car. The results, as you can imagine, were pretty hilarious.
“My son just found the ‘batteries’ in my makeup bag,” Leroux shared photo caption, which shows two tampons perfectly placed inside the car’s battery compartment.
Leroux also told Daily Mail Australia that after Leo announced that he’d found the “batteries,” she had to let him down gently.
“I told him how clever he was, although they weren’t going to make the car turn on,” she recalled.
The funniest part of all? The tampons fit inside PERFECTLY! Maybe Leo knows something we don’t? In any case, for a 3-year-old to figure that out is pretty amazing, if you ask me. Now only if only our real cars could be fixed this easily …
Hats off to little Leo for his ingenuity!
