Ever wonder why the names of the week are what they are? Like, why do we call Monday, “Monday?”
Well, this adorable little girl is defying linguistic norms as we know them as she takes a more … eccentric approach to listing off the days of the week.
In this hilarious home video, a little girl attempts to relay (her version) of the weekdays, beginning with Saturday but veering slighting off track with “apartment,” “spider web,” and “root beer,” instead of, you know, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday. The video is a few years old, but has recently gone viral with over 21,000 views so far after being republished by Kyoot Kids on YouTube.
While this may not be the typical way we organize our calendars, we’ve got to give her props for creativity.
Happy Spider Web! Or Wednesday, whichever you prefer.
