NFL players showing off their adorable dad skills? Um, yes please.
As part of Pantene Pro-V’s “Strong is Beautiful” campaign, NFL stars DeAngelo Williams of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Benjamin Watson of the New Orleans Saints, and Jason Witten of the Dallas Cowboys face the toughest plays of their life: tackling their daughter’s hair.
First up is Williams. While he may have thought running through a defensive line was tough, he never had to use his big hands to make tiny twisted braids in his kindergarten daughter, Rhiya’s, hair. Oh, and if his interactions with his daughter don’t make you swoon, note he’s also a single dad. (Just FYI, ladies.)
The next dad-do was done by the Saints’ tight end, Benjamin Watson. Can Watson master the braided pigtails of his daughter, Grace? You’ll have to watch and see …
Jason Whitten had the most penalties (I mean, come on man, it’s just a braid), but he tried his best and that’s what counts! As he described the endeavor, “Catching a touchdown pass is a lot easier than making a beautiful braid.” We’ll take your word for it, Whitten.
And (our personal favorite) DeAngelo Williams comes back FTW in a second hairdo tryout with his younger daughter, Reyna. And if we may say so, his princess puff = perfection.
With all of these awesome dads in the mix, maybe we’ll actually start watching football now. Good luck to all the NFL dads out there this weekend!More On
