When you think about the typical job options for a 17-year-old, they aren’t always glamorous. But two young women in Indianapolis, Indiana have already found their real calling — to make little girls smile.
It all started when Jenise Stowers-Dunn wanted to make her daughter Terrae feel special by throwing parties for her and her friends. They became so popular, that she started hosting spa parties in other people’s homes — and before she knew it, she was able to save enough money to take her party business on the road!
Peja Jordan (Stower-Dunn’s niece) and Shamari Whitfield, both 17, are party hosts (AKA “Glam Hostesses”) on the Lil Girls Glam Party Bus that is taking Indianapolis by storm. The bus is completely decked out in all things pink, glitter, and fabulous inside, where the teens host groups of girls ages 4-12 by giving them an ultimate party experience they’ll never forget.
Jordan recently tweeted photos of the bus which went viral, with over 24K likes and 11K retweets. She also treated her followers to this behind-the-scenes peek!

“My favorite party experiences have to be getting to know the girls on the bus,” Jordan tells Babble. “Usually with our older girls, we’ll dress up and make funny dancing videos and have a runway show. With our babies around the ages 4-6, they just love dressing up and becoming a princess for the day! My favorite part has to be doing their makeup and watching them transform into pretty princesses!”
No doubt, the girls are having their time of their lives — from singing karaoke to donning glamorous costumes and getting luxurious mani-pedis.
To get your own glam party started, the company’s website details their packages with various themes. “Precious Princesses” includes a mini-manicure, makeup, princess fairy wings, and tiaras — while “Glamour Rock” offers some feisty fun, including hair extensions and rock star tattoos.
The Lil Girls Glam Party Bus currently travels around Indianapolis, but according to Jordan, they eventually want to branch out “all over the world.” So get your little ladies ready to hop on a party bus near you!
