While the holiday season is all about indulging in rich foods, festive movies, and spending time with family, we can’t disregard the pressure to buy the perfect present for the ones we love.

The holidays can be a real challenge for many who don’t have sufficient funds to go on a major shopping spree, which is why we love what a mystery woman in Everett, Pennsylvania, has done for her community. A woman, who has chosen to remain anonymous by using the name “Santa B,” presented her local Walmart with a check for $46,265.59 to pay off all 194 layaway accounts from the store.

The Bedford County Free Press Facebook account recently posted a status that reads:

“We have confirmed with corporate Walmart that at 4:15 PM December 7, 2016 a woman walked into Walmart in Everett and handed a cashier’s check in the amount of $46,265.59 to pay off 194 layaways to the service desk. The check was signed by a male but a woman delivered it. And said her name was Santa B.”

Now, that’s taking “Secret Santa” to the next level. We don’t need to assume that the recipients of this generous act of kindness were grateful, as they took to Facebook to share their sentiments. One woman commented, “I had one thing (on layaway) due to recent complications from surgery and was struggling how to get it out. Thank you so much, Santa.”

Another commented on the post saying, “We are really appreciative and blessed by this individual. And for the less fortunate, I’m sure it was a Christmas miracle. True meaning of ‘Good Will.'”

We can’t help but agree. It really has been a season of giving. From the real estate agent who is paying for all pet adoptions through the end of 2016 to the single dad who donated his frequent flyer miles to help strangers spend the holidays with their families, we’ve seen so many acts of kindness this holiday season.

It’s truly heartwarming to see so many people going out of their way to make someone else’s holiday special.
