What cat lover wouldn't want to dress up their photos with cats, cats, cats?!

Apps and smart phones. What would we do without them?

Can you even remember when your wait at the doctor’s office included a real magazine? Some apps, especially pets related apps can not only be entertaining (and downright hysterical!), but they can also be very informative. Take a look at the top 5 apps for pet lovers below.

Cat Paint: My daughter, and many of my friends are obsessed with this app. Take any photo and just add as many cats to it as you want. The results are hysterical and amazingly cute. This photo to the right is our pup Django being inundated by kitties.

Pet First Aid: If you have a mischievous critter in your home, and even if you don’t, you might want to download first aid for your pet. This convenient tool allows you to tap into emergency situations and tells you what needs to be done right now. It also has topics such as bites and stings, disaster preparedness, and ‘what’s normal’. It also has a cool feature which allows you to upload each of your vet’s individual information and photo, and reminds you about vet appointments, medications, and other notes.

My Dog: As you might guess by its name, this app saves every bit of info about your beloved pup. From health info and scheduled vaccinations to phone numbers for vets, groomers, and trainers, this app stores all the 411 on your dog and allows you to have it at your fingertips. You can even see a list of every vaccination your pup has ever had and the date it was administered, which is incredibly helpful when tracking any allergic reactions.

iKibble: This would have come in handy when I used to feed my dog grapes not knowing they could be dangerous for dogs. Who knew? Of course, most of us know not to give our pooches any chocolate but did you know that some dogs are actually allergic to beef? This app contains hundreds of food types including meat, dairy, fruit, vegetable, and grains and has a built-in search function lets you easily search for a specific food.

Kitty Wigs: Is there any better way to pass time than to doll up your kitty in a wig and sunglasses? We think not. Wig selection includes curly wigs, straight wigs, green wigs, red wigs. And despite the name, you can also upload doggie photos and use kitty wigs on your canine pals to dress up your dogs, too!
