25 Cringe-Worthy Photos of Sh*t Our Pets Ruined

stuff-our-pets-ruinedThough Puppy and Ming-Ming are getting up there in age, they still act as young as ever. This involves running sideways as they tear through the house in the middle of the night, tearing up toilet paper rolls and scratching up my clothes. It drives me crazy, but I’ve put up with it this long and they are cats so they won’t change for anything.

One of the ‘joys’ of pet-ownership and putting up with our furry-loves is dealing with their interesting habits and weird quirks. Some dogs have high anxiety and will tear through your shoes if you’re just going to get the mail and some cats want to make an example out of you for taking a little longer to get them their food by breaking your window blinds.

We love them anyway and they do give us some pretty funny stories and photos out of the sh*t the ruin.

"I was sitting on my bed watching tv and our Shorkie Duke jumped up to join me. I noticed his face was blue and couldn't figure out what happened. Until I walked into the kitchen…..he had been chewing on a blue gel ink pen. There were little blue paw prints all over the floor! Our boxer Daisy was crouched in the corner looking at me like "I was NOT involved.". Luckily, it came right up and he's too cute to give away." - Cheri

    He Didn't Fit
"The cat door was destroyed by a rescue bulldog …. Yaya thought that meant she had an ongoing open hole for entry and exit. My husband put in the new door, leaving a few screws loose for fitment purposes… Yaya decided that this catdoor was just NOT going to deter her ingress/egress. She's gotta contract, dammit!" - Heather

    He Seems So Proud
"Seamus is about 5 months old and we really don't know what breed he is, but at 43 pounds we know it's BIG. This is one of the OLD patio furniture cushions that we decided to put down as outdoor doggie beds when we replaced them. Clearly this was not a good move. Fortunately the actual patio furniture is covered when not in use, as demonstrated by Seamus and Darby in the third photo. Seamus has only destroyed books and magazines inside, he leaves the indoor beds alone." - Melissa

"Hugo and Lola are our adorable but very naughty chocolate labs. Over the last 3 years they have eaten their way through 3 leather sofas, one marble coffee table (smashed after they jumped on it), countless shoes, books and remote controls. These pics were taken after we mistakenly believed the dark days of devastation were behind us, and briefly popped out leaving the compost bags in the living room…" - Stephanie
