12 Hours of Sleep Does the Body GoodMolly Thornberg
My husband has been a doll through out this pregnancy. I’ve received little gifts here and there. While they all have been appreciated, nothing beats the gift he and my body gave me this weekend.
12 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
Yes, it’s true. At 38 weeks pregnant, having a bladder hold for more than 2 hours, I would consider a blessing. Somehow thru the grace of God and the insistence of my husband on the kids to leave me alone – I slept for 12 hours, not once waking up to pee or yell at kids.
While my body and mind loved and much needed the rest. I would like to say, that my 16 month old was playing in the toilet when I woke up. It’s like a water table, right at his height! For toys, he used a roll of toilet paper. Despite the mess, it was worth it.
Thank you husband, I love you and can’t tell you how much I appreciate the unexpected gift.
I feel relaxed and rested.
Now baby – please feel free to start the process of packing up your belongings and moving out, you’re nearing eviction.
