12 Stylish Maternity Dresses For The HolidaysLauren Jimeson
With the holiday season in full effect, chances are the invites are rolling in for all those holiday parties. And your outfits for the holiday season doesn’t have to be limited just because you are expecting. Maternity design has come a long way and there’s lots of options for us to choose from when it comes to these holiday shindigs.
We have a couple parties to go to and thankfully they all involve different crowds, so I am plan on purchasing one maternity dress that I can wear to all of the parties. My pregnancy is nearing an end soon, so it doesn’t make complete sense for me to purchase a dress that I can only wear once.
I wanted to find a maternity dress that I not only loved, but also has the potential for me to wear post-pregnancy as well. Much to my surprise, there were many dresses that I loved and it was difficult to narrow down my dress to just one option.
Check out some of my favorite maternity dresses they are perfect for this holiday season!
(Faux) Leather Love 1 of 12
The leather look is really in this season and don't think that just because you are pregnant that you have to stay away. This faux leather dress adds a little bit of edge to your bump. Think of it as an alternative to the classic, little black dress. Pair it with a great statement necklace and fabulous shoes to complete the look.
Be Merry in Red 2 of 12
I always love wearing traditional holiday colors this time of year. This dress has such a great silhouette and will drape so nicely around your bump. With gold jewelry and simple black pumps or booties, your holiday party look will be complete!
Color Blocking 3 of 12
I love this sophisticated look for a holiday party. This would be a great choice that goes from work to the party afterward. Just add a little bit of extra jewelry for nighttime and you will be glowing!
Green & Lace 4 of 12
A combination of lace and beautiful green that goes right along with the festive holiday spirit. This dress is great because it can go easily from day or night and last you well throughout the holidays. It would make a great spring dress too!
Celebrate with Patterns 5 of 12
I saw this dress and immediately fell in love. The pattern is so unique and gorgeous. This dress is sure to make you stand out in a crowd as the detail is spectacular. It also doesn't scream, "holidays!" which means it will last you long after the season is over.
Wrap Up Your Bump 6 of 12
This is a classic dress from Isabella Oliver that I absolutely love. Wrap up your bump and show it off. The gorgeous ruched look just makes it even more flattering. The company is known for their great maternity dresses and this dress is sure not to disappoint. Plus, your baby is the best present that you could ask for!
Comfort and Class 7 of 12
HATCH debuted their holiday collection and I literally fell in love with everything. I've worn HATCH many times throughout my pregnancy and I love that it's designed to wear even after you are pregnant. The detail in this dress, with the adorable take on a Peter Pan collar and the gorgeous deep green color, will make you look stunning at this year's party.
Sparkle and Shine 8 of 12
If your party is a little bit fancier, don't go throughout the night feeling uncomfortable. This tee shirt dress will let you sparkle and shine, while making your bump look gorgeous!
Stand Out in the Crowd 9 of 12
Not your typical holiday color, this dress coordinates so beautifully over your bump. I love the added drape of fabric that goes down the middle of the dress. This would be great for both a holiday party and will also make a great day dress come the summertime!
Look Lovely in Lace 10 of 12
A gorgeous little black dress with a touch of lace. This is such a classic and stunning look that is flattering on any figure. No need for added jewelry because the lace sets the tone of the look. Add either a simple black pump or spice it up a bit with some colored heels to complete the look.
Perfectly Pleated 11 of 12
This is another great look that can take you from the office, straight to a party. During the day, you can wear the attached belt. But for the party? Add a great necklace and remove the belt for easy dancing! I love the small pleats that go throughout the bottom of the dress and help add a little bit of pizzaz to the silhouette.
It’s All in the Details 12 of 12
I love the lace overlay look. This dress is absolutely stunning. The cream slip underneath helps the detail of the black lace stand out. The scalloped bottom just makes this dress even more detailed. It's a wonderful look for the holidays.
