Dealing with the loss of my twins at 17 weeks pregnant has been the single-most difficult thing I’ve ever had to do. There have been days when I just can’t face the world. I’ve had those moments where I question everything, especially God. There have been times were I’ve sworn that I won’t try again. And I’ve even said, “Maybe I’m just not supposed to be a mother.”

But then some faint spark inside of me ignites, and I know that this is not how my story will end. And the flame inside of me burns bigger and brighter with every glimmer of hope I find in the comforting and loving words of family, friends, and yes even strangers.

For those of us who have experienced a pregnancy loss, and for the countless women who struggle with getting pregnant, it’s imperative that we never give up hope, that we encourage others suffering to never give up. I pray you all can find comfort in the little moments, and that you find the strength you need to carry on.

And I hope these words help you do just that.
