7 Items Every Newly-Pregnant Woman Needs to Have On Hand

Oh what an exciting time being pregnant is! During the first trimester, being pregnant is a battle of being excited about what is to come and trying to survive all the symptoms that come with it.

Counting down the first trimester where the big symptoms are running┬árampant┬ácan be all you can do to survive it. Between the energy-drain fatigue, the all-day sickness and bloating — it can be hard to stay positive about the experience.

I promise you it does (usually) get better and having been through it a few times, I have a few tricks up my sleeve for surviving the first trimester!

  • Slippers 1 of 7
    One of the first symptoms of pregnancy is the need to go to the bathroom all the time. in the middle of the night, when it's cold and especially so on the cold tiled bathroom floor. You will be happy to have the slippers to keep your feet warm.

  • Spray Bottle with Water 2 of 7
    Early pregnancy is notorious for being so tired you will want something to keep you awake. A spray bottle with some water to blast yourself when you need a pick me up is a good idea!

    You will be hot... your oven is on baking that baby so you will want to have this.

    It helps keep the queezies away -- both the smell of the tea and drinking it will combat that nasty morning sickness (all day queezies).

    You will be puking and if you do -- you don't want to stare into a dirty toilet, I promise!
