One of the things that I’ll always miss about being pregnant is the feel of my taught stomach, with my baby snuggled safely inside.
I loved how I could feel movement from the surface of my skin and how I could see my baby’s shifting tiny.
I was so amazed by how it looked and felt that I welcomed pretty much everyone to touch my pregnant belly.
I’m guessing that I nearly drove my husband mad after a while, with my constant requests to have him sit with me and feel the baby move.
But, I was reading an article last night that offered a handful of suggestions on how to interact with pregnant women and one of the tips was to always ask before you touch a woman’s pregnant belly, which seems like a great rule of thumb.
The article made me wonder how you all feel and I’d love to hear your thoughts.
I’d love for you to cast your vote and then share your thoughts and stories with me in the comments!
