Modeling While Pregnant

My modeling cameo. {photo by Lisa Warninger}

I am not now, nor have I ever been a model.  Well…I wasn’t until a week ago anyway.

Little did I know that my modeling career would begin while I was three months pregnant at the ripe old age of 26 (I know 26 isn’t old, but in the modeling world, I’m pretty sure 26 is the new 50).

This was NOT an intentional modeling gig – I was actually helping with wardrobe styling at this shoot for Kinfolk Magazine and the model wasn’t able to make it.  So – here I am: modeling while pregnant, something I never thought I’d be doing, but was actually pretty fun and a lovely little self-esteem boost during this time of feeling awkward and bloated.

This got me thinking…

Was there anything you thought you’d never do while pregnant?  What was it?  How did it make you feel?

I can’t say that I’ll be doing any more modeling while pregnant, but it was a fun experience.  Always good to keep trying new things – pregnant or not!

And if you’re interested you can see more photos and read more about the shoot over at Kinfolk Magazine and {Frolic!}.  Oh…and I also blogged about it today at my blog if you’d like to pop by.
