Pregnant Street Style

The lovely Miroslava Duma - my pregnancy style icon.

If you didn’t know, in addition to blogging here at Babble and over at my personal blog The Little Things We Do I am also a contributor for the Portland street style blog Urban Weeds.  This means that I spend a lot of my free time checking people out.  One thing that I don’t always see much of is stylish pregnant women.  I was wondering if maybe this was just a Portland thing, since yoga pants are considered completely appropriate brunch attire here, so I decided to google “pregnant street style” and a variety of variations of this search and was surprised at my findings:

Not a lot.

How is it possible that in a world with so many fashion options there is so little for pregnant women?  The majority of the pregnancy street style that I came across was comprised of celebrities and editors at fashion magazines.  A disappointment to say the least.  Why are real stylish pregnant women getting no street style love?

Well, I will definitely be on the lookout for more in the coming months myself, but for now, here are a few fashionistas who didn’t let their personal style suffer during their 9 months of pregnancy.

See them after the jump! (And go check out my post today over at The Little Things We Do to see my most recent styling of my teeny, tiny baby bump).
