Butterscotch Treats with White Chocolate
Makes about 20 servings
- 5 tablespoons butter
- 1 1/2 cups butterscotch chips
- pinch of salt
- 10 oz. marshmallows (make sure they are gluten-free)
- 6 cups gluten-free crisped rice cereal
- 6 ounces white chocolate, melted
In large saucepan melt butter, butterscotch chips and salt over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir until just melted. Remove from heat.
Add the crisped rice cereal and stir just until well-coated.
Evenly press the mixture into 9″x13″ pan brushed with unsalted butter. Cool completely. Cut in to squares, dip in melted white chocolate and serve.
