Chocolate Almond Biscotti
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup baking cocoa
- 1 stick butter
- 3/4 cup almonds
- 3/4 cup white chocolate chips
- 2 eggs
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons almond liqueur
Preheat oven to 325°. Combine in bowl flour, baking powder, sugar and baking cocoa. Rub in butter.
Add almonds, white chocolate chips and combine, eggs, egg yolks, water and liqueur, mix well.
Turn dough out on to well-floured surface, form into a flat log 14 inches x 3 inches.
Wrap in plastic, freeze 1 hour or refrigerate overnight.
Using serrated knife, cut dough into 1/4 inch thick slices, place on greased baking trays, bake 25-30 minutes, cool before removing from tray.
