Maple acorn squash rings recipe for kids

Serves 8-10

Ingredients:

  • 2-4 small acorn squash
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • kosher salt

Method:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Slice squashes into 1/2 inch slices.

Remove seeds and membranes.

Toss squash slices with maple syrup and butter. Season with kosher salt.

Bake for 30-35 minutes, until flesh is tender and golden brown.
