Quick Scones

Ingredients:

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 cup lemonade
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • extra flour for kneading

Method:

Sift flour and salt together into bowl. Make a well in the center of the flour, pour in cream and lemonade.

Stir with a knife until dough begins to form, then remove from bowl onto floured surface, and knead flour to a smooth dough form.

Roll dough out and cut out rounds, place on a greased baking tray and cook for 10-12 minutes at 350°F.
