Roasted parsnips and carrots recipe for kids

Serves 8-10

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of carrots, peeled and sliced in half
  • 1 pound of parsnips, peeled and sliced in half
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Method:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Toss carrots and parsnips with olive oil and season with salt and pepper. Bake for 30 minutes, or until starting to turn golden brown.
