This Hocus Pocus Follow-Up Book Brings Us Back to Salem 25 Years Later

Yes, it’s still 90 degrees outside and you’re just getting used to the fact that the kids are home for summer break — but get ready to head back to Salem, because Halloween just came early!

Hocus Pocus the All-New Sequel just hit bookshelves, which is pretty much the best news ever for fans of the original 1993 film. (In other words: all of us.)

The young adult novel heads back to Salem, Massachusetts once more and picks up 25 years after the original story left off. This time, we follow the adventures of 17-year-old Poppy, the daughter of Max and Allison (because yes, they got married!). Sorcery abounds, witches run amok, and Poppy finds herself fighting off the evil clutches of the Sanderson sisters, just like her parents once did.
