5 White Clothing Pieces You Can Wear All Year Long

Ok, let’s just talk straight here for a second. A rule that you’re not allowed to wear white between Labor Day and Memorial Day is stupid. STUPID. Fashion rules are meant to be broken, and it turns out that when you break them, you can come up with some pretty unexpectedly great outfits.

There are tons of white pieces you can wear all year round (like everything Mandi featured in this awesome post) but today I want to show you just five white pieces you can wear in every season, each of which I’ve styled for all four seasons.

  • White Denim 2 of 26

White jeans are the main taboo clothing item after Labor Day. But they're so versatile, so why would you hide them away half of the year??

  • White Denim – Spring 3 of 26

As the warmer days come in spring, pair your white jeans with bright and neon hues. You might still need to layer with a sweater, but your jeans are totally appropriate.

  • White Denim: Summer 4 of 26

An all white outfit is so ethereal and summer, in my opinion, especially with a lace top and a diamond headpiece.

  • White Denim – Fall 5 of 26

In the fall, wear your white jeans with darker hues. The burgundy lipstick and booties really make this outfit feel fallish.

  • White Denim – Winter 6 of 26

Layers during the winter are essential. A sweatshirt and chambray are perfect layered under a leather jacket, and a little pop of stripey socks peeking out under a pair of lace up booties is a fun wintery touch that will keep those feet nice and toasty.

  • White Blazer 7 of 26

A white blazer or jacket is a great layering piece for all seasons.

A white blazer is a perfect pairing with a springy dress and mary janes. If it's still cool, through on a pair of tights!

Leather is the biggest trend for fall, and a pair of leather leggings and a striped top looks fantastic with a structured white blazer. Plus, the black and white look is so chic.
