5 Pretty Valentine’s Day Outfits You Already Own

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner. Do you have your outfit picked out for the big night?! It’s always a little stressful and frustrating when you feel like you have nothing to wear for your date with your partner or night out with the girls. But as much as you can stare into your overflowing closet and see nothing, I guarantee there’s something in there for you to wear. Sometimes it just takes a little creativity and inspiration! Here are a few ideas to get your outfit ideas flowing:

1. Pink and Red Combo

This outfit is a Valentine’s Day match made in heaven. I wouldn’t pair pink and red together in this bold way any other day of the year, but on Valentine’s Day it’s free game and definitely encouraged. The two colors create such a pretty and feminine look that will have your date swooning. And don’t forget — you can do this look with red or pink pants instead for a more casual festive look! Just keep the rest of your outfit (shoes, jewelry, bag, and lip color) low-key so it doesn’t compete with your bold ensemble.

2. Black and White Combo

I guarantee everyone has a black and white piece in their closet, whether it’s a skirt, blouse, scarf, or pants. It’s a perfect classic combination and goes so well with any of the standard Valentine’s Day colors — pink, red, and purple.

3. Blush and Red Combo

Blush is one of those colors that is often forgotten. It’s that super pale pink that’s soft and very feminine. If you don’t have bright pink in your closet, blush is a great alternative for your festive look. I paired mine with a bright red skirt, but you could pair it with white, gray, black, or even just regular denim for a very subtle Valentine’s Day look.

 4. Floral and Denim Combo

Floral is always a good choice for Valentine’s Day. Whether it’s a skirt or a blouse, I’m sure you have something floral in your closet you can throw on. Pair it with denim for a casual look, or something more fancy like red lace for a dressier date night look.

 5. Black with Pops of Color

If large amounts of pink and red are just not your thing, go for more subtle additions in your shoes, your jewelry, your lip color, or your handbag. Your little black dress is the perfect foundation for these subtle pops of color. I paired mine with a pair of bright pink pumps and a hot pink lip for a not-overly-festive, but very sexy look!

Now go scour your closet using these tips and find yourself the perfect Valentine’s Day outfit without spending a penny!
