6 Ways To Wear your Floral This Fall!

This summer was the first in a while where floral was everywhere! Floral dresses, floral pants, floral shirts, even floral shoes. It was hard to escape the trend, and going into fall this time around I’m not sure I even want to escape it. As a stylist, I recommend that my clients on a budget transfer pieces from one season to the next. I personally also follow this rule. It’s a smart way in both budget, and store. With a few changes, everything can be adaptable. Even your floral for this fall!

  • With a sweater 2 of 7

Floral pants can also become a fall staple by adding a chunky sweater. If you would like to go a darker, more "fall" route, switch my colorful sweater for a black one. You can add a statement necklace with black booties, and voila.

  • Muted Bolero 3 of 7

What I love most about floral is the fact that it does come in all kinds of colors. This muted vintage bolero looked amazing with bright jeans this summer. For this fall, it can look equally as great with moccasins and a dress.

  • A floral jumper 4 of 7

If you purchased floral overalls this summer, perfect! With a black blazer, or black cropped leather, your overalls become the perfect fall piece.

  • With army green 5 of 7

Like your floral, army green just won't let up, and I'm fine with that. My vintage army green sweater made my floral a bit more edgy and a bit more fall!

  • A floral dress 6 of 7

Putting on a pair of dark boots and a thick blazer (despite it being white) turned my summer floral dress into a fall floral dress. I like the idea of also pairing this look up with a variety of heavy jackets and tights with flats. On the warmer fall days, you can wear a similar dress with a denim jacket and pair of sneakers, nstantly making it more casual.

  • Floral maxi 7 of 7

The great thing about a floral maxi is that you can wear tights underneath to keep you warm without anyone noticing. If you happen to be into vintage leather knee-length coats, that can also be a great way to wear your maxi. Or, you can simply wear it with a cropped leather jacket.
